takes the same ingredients as everyone else and produces the

implemented and refurnished with the feedback received from our

With the advent of social networking sites such as Facebook and Orkut, students are used to maintaining their "personal profiles" on the internet. In a similar vein of thought, estudentcafé seeks to help students to maintain their "academic profiles". Students can see their subject-wise and chapter-wise report.
Using estudentcafé, students can keep track of their entire academic preparation all under one site. The service is currently exclusively for Sinhals students. estudentcafé also has a unique feature for parents: Parents have a separate login and password to view their child's academic profile so as to keep up with their progress.

It is only natural that students talk about "Which board is the best?" and "Which board is the hardest?". One purpose of COTB is to allow students to find answers to these questions by finding out how they compare against students from other boards. Of Clash The Boards, as the name suggests is the only platform for students across India to battle it out against their peers from all 4 boards in India: CBSE, ICSE, SSC and IGCSE.
The second purpose of COTB is a broader purpose. Our intent is to start a debate on some fundamentals of our education system. For instance, what is the relevance for multiple boards in the country? What is it that they offer to the student? Can't we have multi-lingual variants for the same to have a one size fits all? Wouldn't it solve the "my 80% in Maharashtra SSC is equal to your 90% in CBSE" syndrome? Are we really really understanding the basis of learning and education? Is the percentage based systems just creating memorize-rs rather than learners? |
We are hoping that this initiative will bring some fresh thinking and innovative debates - which is always a starting point for change. Since the site targets the students, the modes of discussions also be student friendly. As part of launch a one-of-its-kind common platform Online Test for 4 major board class X students (CBSE, ICSE, SSC and IGCSE) was conducted on 26 January, 2010, Republic Day. The site will be doing a lot of things like launching facebook applications, quizzes, debates, discussions - whatever it takes for whet the students humor and open his mind for the more mature decisions in life.

42 Secrets of Top Ranking Students:
“The first thought that struck me when I heard about the 42 Secrets of Top Ranking MHT-CET Students was that why a book like this was never thought of before. Instantly I knew it was the missing picture in the Indian students preparation arsenal.
It would have been easy to write about a few shortcuts
of MHT-CET, but the authors have instead gone deep into
the psyche of the students who do well in the CET.
For this reason I expect this book to be not only useful
for CET aspirants but also for their parents to |
get an insight as to how
their child is spending 17 months of his/her life
preparing for a 4 hour entrance test."
A senior professor and MHT-CET paper-setter |

"IIT aspirants think MHT-CET is easy. It would be if we had all year to prepare and not care about the JEE, AIEEE, HSC and the many private engineering exams. Everyday my schedule was full from 7 am to 9 pm studying for IIT, HSC, CET and going to college. Moreover, it would be easy if we had two minutes to solve every question instead of just 54 seconds! A book like 42 Secrets for CET would've really helped me and I am really glad to be able to contribute to it. I only wish it was written when I was in 12th!"

MHT-CET Topper, selected in IIT, State Top Ranking student In AIEEE.
